HSO starts campaign against domestic violence
Taking forward women welfare programmes, Help Social Organisation has started a campaign against domestic violence. The NGO has set up a committee headed by Mrs Champa Ronta will provide all type of assistance to the victims of domestic violence. The committee will also organise awareness campaigns in the state to educate masses about 'The Protection of Women From Domestic Violence Act, 2005'.

The NGO will educate women about their rights and also legal course of action they can take in case of any harassment. The NGO has also started a page of social network site facebook.com -- India against domestic violence -- with a view to reach a wider audience and update members of the society about cases of domestic violence.

Any victim or person who is directly linked to a victim can approach the NGO to seek consultancy or any legal assistance.
